This Sterling Silver Sixpence Pendant is created from the design of a 1944 georgivs VI Sixpence coin. Sometimes known as a tanner necklace or a sixpenny bit necklace. First minted in 1551 and was the value of half a shilling or one-fortieth of a pound. The Coin was retired in the 1980s. Please note that this is a new replica of the original mintage created in full sterling silver instead of cupronickel. This has been done to ensure that it can be worth by those sensitive to nickel. The coin has since become worn for luck. Presented ready to be worn on an 18 inch snake chain.

Weight 2.4g pendant only.

The perfect gift with our FSC certified recycled presentation box.
