This listing is for our restored 9ct yellow and white gold dress ring. The ring has 19 Cubic Zirconia white gemstones, all of which are claw set. We have restored this ring using fairtrade 9ct yellow gold. This included a new shank and retipping claws. We have managed to preserve the original hallmark along the inside. The ring measures 18mm down the cluster and 19mm across. As hallmarked the purity of the metal is 9ct yellow gold (375) U.K hallmarked in London. The original manufacturers stamp G-Ltd is still visible inside. We can deduce from the Manufacturer and style of the ring that it was created in the early millennium year (2000).
Background: This ring came to us through a house clearance and was stashed away with a few smaller trinkets inside a teapot of all places. It was heavily tarnished and the shank worn and bent. It is likely to have been used as an engagement ring as it had signs of being worn against another band. It was a pleasure restoring it to its former glory. We have placed it along side diamond equivalent rings and it appears near identical even to a trained eye. I am sure it will find a deserving home.
Finger size for the ring is UK size S. US size 9 + 1/4.
The ring weighs: 2.8 grams.
