The Garden Gate Southwold
Flowers are an integral part of any wedding. But how can we use flowers whilst being Eco-Conscious? We believe we have found the perfect balance with Denise from The Garden Gate. Denise is a qualified florist who grows her own cutting gardens in Southwold and Somerleyton. Her individual, imaginative arrangements for weddings and bouquets are made using seasonal scented British garden flowers and foliage. Ensuring that you are reducing your carbon footprint by not importing flowers. They also never use that un-biodegradable foam you see at most florists. You can discover The Garden gates wonderful trove of floral treasures here.
Charlotte Atkinson- Watercolour Weddings
It was a unanimous decision at Eco925 to add this wonderful addition to our wedding guide. The idea of a live wedding painter is so unusual and classy that everyone in the office has decided they want to renew their vows, just so they can have a portrait! Charlotte is renowned for her incredible subtlety, capturing her subjects with a sophisticated, signature style. With a string of awards to her name, displaying her art all over the world. Charlotte also uses watercolours instead of oils, which is a big plus in our books as it is a lot more Eco-friendly. But these live canvases are just the tip of the iceberg. Watercolour weddings also offer guest portraits in water based watercolour so everyone has a little gift to take away. Find everything you need at watercolour weddings here.
Kimberly Thompson- Bizzy Bees Playwear
Bizzy Bees makes the sweetest little flower girl outfits we have seen. Kimberly's dresses are 100% handmade and can be customised. All of their fabrics are sourced from a small US-based shop, that print their fabrics using plant based dyes. This dye set process does not require chemical dye-sets. The dye set process is then completed by Kimberly, who's dyes are heat set when pre-washing and drying the fabrics before cutting. You can find the perfect flower girl outfit at Bizzy Bees Play wear store here.
